Sian has been competing since the age of seven, with her first competition in an Aquathon in Coventry. She came first and has raced ever since.
Currently English Schools 1500m Champion and National 1500m Champion after winning in Gateshead and Bedford earlier this year, it is no surprise that Sian’s strongest event in triathlon is the run. She also represented England Junior girls at cross country in March 2011 in Antrim - her first international vest.
Sian has always wanted to be a professional athlete when she finishes university and is currently part of Dame Kelly Holmes’ 'On Camp with Kelly' programme for talented middle distance athletes.
Sian trains to race and is ecstatic to be part of the British Triathlon Olympic Talent Squad, her goal is national representation through the age groups as far as this can take her
Her best triathlon results have come at the British Triathlon Inter Regional Championships with two bronze medals in 2009 and 2010.
She trains with City of Coventry Swimming Club, Rugby Cycling Club and Coventry Godiva Harriers, and represents Stratford Sharks Triathlon Club. Her mentor for triathlon is Steve Lloyd of the West Midlands Regional Academy.
