Rich is British Triathlon's Performance Development Coach with particular interest in development of talent within Wales. He lives in South Wales with his family and is actively involved in triathlon, having completed numerous Ironman triathlons in exceptional times and represented Great Britain at the World Long Distance Triathlon Championships.

Rich was previously based in Tavistock and was the full time triathlon coach at Kelly College - where he coached 2008 Olympian, Flora Duffy (represented Bermuda). Prior to that he was in the Army Logistics Corps.
