A determined athlete, Non changed her focus from running (she was Welsh Schools 1,500m champion in ’02, ’03 and ’04) to triathlon after a series of injuries kept her off the track.
Turning to the pool for rehabilitation, Non soon found herself training fulltime with the University of Birmingham Triathlon team and after her injury had cleared she still found herself getting up for the early morning sessions.
2011 has seen Non take top-10 finishes at the ITU Triathlon World Cup in Ishigaki, the ITU Triathlon European Cup in Antalya and the ITU Sprint Triathlon Pan American Cup.
Non is based in Leeds and is part of UK Sport Lottery Funded British Triathlon Olympic Academy Squad.
