Bio...

James has competed in triathlon (Tri3 category) for the past 6 years and has cerebral palsy. He recently moved from Guildford to concentrate more on Parartriathlon and now lives in Whitchurch, Shropshire. James is coached by Tony Jolly and Rob Harvey at Manchester Tri, but trains with Wrexham Athletics Club and has a specialist physiotherapist at Sub-4 in Stoke.

Manchester Tri is now a Development Club for Paratriathlon and James will be involved in coaching (BTF Level 1) and helping out the future stars of Paratriathlon. He has also set up his website to encourage disabled athletes, particularly those with cerebral palsy, to get involved with Paratriathlon.

James' move proved beneficial to his performance after he finish 2nd in the 2011 ITU World Championships. His other sporting achievements over recent years include:
