Bio...

David has been doing triathlon for two years and got into it by chance after clicking on a link on the Guardian website which led him to the British Disabled Championships in 2008. He entered and won it! David grew up in Great Yarmouth and attended Hatfield Polytechnic where he was awarded a BSc Degree in Computer Science.  

Tell us a bit about your disability

"I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a congenital bone disease commonly known as brittle bones, which has left me very short and with particularly weak legs. Becuase of this i have experienced multiple fractures during my life."

Are you a full time triathlete or do you work, what’s your job?

"No, I work.  I sell IT products into schools and also run a trophies and engraving business."

What is your best strength in triathlon?

"Probably my swim."

What is your ultimate goal in triathlon and beyond?

"I would like to qualify for Rio 2016 but age might be a problem!"
