Bio...
Clare was born without a left forearm. She has been competing in triathlon since 2006, having formerly been a paralympic swimmer. She won gold and four silvers at the Paralympics in Barcelona in 1992.
Clare is a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte LLP. She has a 2:1 MA Honours in English Language and Literature from the University of St Andrews, Scotland.
She won the world title in 2009 on the Gold Coast and has been a regular medal winner at World and European Championships.
Clare is a member of the UK Sport Lottery Funded British Paratriathlon Squad and is based in Cambridge. She is coached by Tom Bennett.
