Ben is British Triathlon's Olympic Men’s Coach, a part time role he was appointed to in June 2011. He was previously employed as a National Performance Centre coach until August 2010 when he left to go freelance.
Ben has coached many of Britain's top medal winning athletes, including Tim Don and Hollie Avil to world titles. He has preious Olympic coaching experience, having been involved in both the 2004 and 2008 games.
Ben reprsented New Zealand in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and won a junior world title. He is originally from Waiuku, New Zealand.
